Hotel Paradiso by Lost In Translation Circus

Adelaide Fringe, Gluttony, The Peacock

Until 16 March

Review by Honey B

Booking in at the Hotel Paradiso this Fringe will not disappoint lovers of character-driven, physical circus comedy. There is plenty of drama as those living in the hotel, Madame and her staff, fight to stay in a slapstick, vibrant and highly skilful show that is reminiscent of the classic television show, Fawlty Towers. But the French banker, Sausage, wants to repossess the hotel and the game is on. The energetic and effervescent performers display a wonderful variety of strong circus skills from acrobatics to juggling, balancing and aerials. It’s fast, funny and thrilling and a beautifully theatrical show for the whole family.
